Junior Karting
Race Academy
The 2008 Junior Karting Race Academy
commences on Sunday 28th October.
The aim of the academy is introduce and develop drivers’
ability to a level where they can progress on to karting clubs
and race competitively in local and national race series.
An ideal introduction to the sport of Kart Racing under the
supervision of our experienced circuit team.
Held alternate Sundays from the 28th October through until
mid March 2008
New Drivers can join at anytime throughout the season.
Arrival time 09.15am with sessions commencing at 09.30am.
Sessions will run through until 11.30am. We will take a maximum
of 20 per session on a first come first served basis. We therefore
advise pre-booking to reserve your space.
Drivers are provided with all the necessary safety equipment
and will have at least 20 minutes of circuit time during the
session. When not on the circuit there will be theory training
workshops as well as breaks for drinks and food from the Pit
Stop Café.
Part of a new drivers first session will comprise of a safety
induction to cover the basic rules of racing and how to handle
the karts on the circuit. We regularly re-enforce the safety
training for each driver. Min age is 10 years.
Special Academy Races are hosted several times over the course
of the season.
